59 Days left to go (or in other words, Day 11)

Today was yet another "iffy" day. I've been so busy and so obsessed with work lately that I'm struggling to find time to get my workouts in. I'm seriously working my tail off; work is so stressful right now and I can't let up. But it feels so good! I love being busy and I love my job- so it's a great combination for me. Does your work ever make you feel productive and accomplished? I'm still trying to learn to balance my work life with the rest of my life though. Because I work from home, you would think I would have all the time in the world to get to the gym. And I admit, there are days (around 2 in the afternoon) where the gym is empty and it's WONDERFUL. Especially in California, it can be really rare to find the gym empty. :) But the truth is, I have a home office because i'm on the road so much and i have such a large territory, that it's hard for me to be in one spot for very long. And the days that I'm busy- I'm BUSY. I don't have time to come home and go to the gym in the middle of the day. About 3/4 of my job is on the road, driving from A to B to C and back to A. The bottom line is, I need to find time to get to the gym more, cause I know as I get better at my job, it's just going to get more and more busy.

Other than looking for time to work out, I'm so happy in my life. I know- this is a random side note. But I feel like it's worth mentioning. Tonight I was busy doing a service project with some people from my church, and I had a moment to sit and reflect on my day and how busy I'd been. (I admit, in that moment, I was actually trying to figure out if I had time to get to the gym or go for a run!) But then it hit me- I'm single and I'm so happy. I actually started giggling. I love my life so much! I am a sexy, fun, single, mature woman. I'm comfortable in my skin. I love where I live. I love my job. I love my family and my friends. I seriously have such a great life! I have been so blessed, and I'm so thankful to God for every blessing. This year is going to be the best one of my life so far, I can feel it. And I'm so excited that I'm aware of it!

What are you thankful for?

D

  1. I am thankful for so many of the same things. I love myself right now...I love my job, my friends, my family and living in New York. I could not ask for more because I have totally been blessed with so much!

Make time to go to the gym either early or late..just do it. It will become another part of your busy routine. Trust me on this Diz...!

    Much love!
