I've decided over the weekend that it's time for me to go back to weight watchers. I need someone to be accountable to; being accountable to myself isn't cutting it. It's taking me too long to lose this extra weight and I don't seem to be super motivated right now.
Back when I was 21 I was diagnosed with a thyroid disorder- Hashimoto's disease. Some of you may have heard of it- basically what happens is your thyroid speeds up really really fast, and then it slows wayyyyyy down. That's what mine did; and I gained a bunch of weight (of course). Well, as soon as I was diagnosed and treated, I started going to WW. I lost all of the extra weight I'd gained pretty quickly. Now, 10 years later, I'm about to go back. I just want to do a good job- I don't trust myself quite yet that I'll do as well as I did the first time. We'll see. I'm hoping the incentive of paying someone to weigh me once a week kicks me into gear.
Wish me luck! I leave in half an hour!
