Day 8.

OMG- I lost a pound this week. MIRACLE! So happy, excited to start this week's rampage down a pound.

Speaking of my new attempts to drop as much as possible in the next 3 weeks, I went to the gym this morning and lifted some weights and did abs. I haven't lifted weights in months, it felt really good to be back in the gym, doing resistance training again.

I'm also tracking again. I was thinking about it at my meeting this morning and I remembered that when we track, we lose more, and we lose more consistently. And since I'm pulling out all the stops...

I was also looking at the little lean meats and proteins section of the booklet and I realized that #1) I have protein to put in protein shakes (if I need more protein for lifting), and 2)there are still a ton of ways to get protein besides meats. So I'm still sticking to my vegan-ish ways. I just feel like it's working; I feel healthier, stronger, and I'm shedding weight easier (although I'm sure you're saying...how can you tell, you're only losing a pound a week....well, I haven't been working that hard either).

Anyway, i'm excited to be on this strict rampage for the next few weeks. Feels good!

  2. I was SOOO happy to see where your weight is. I bet you are thrilled! Even with the holidays, you still dropped. D! Look at you go! You look great and that weight is just melting away!
    I had no idea you were cutting meat out of your diet. You said vegan. Does this mean you are cutting out every animal source of food? I must know more about this. What are you eating?! I just don't think I could do it. Haha! I love meat way too much. I'm so glad it is working for you though and you feel great! YAY for D! I love your face!
