Pictures of Hell

Oh girls.

Today I went wake-boarding with two of my good girlfriends.  NR's brother in law has a boat and so when ever we want to, we can go boating; and we decided that today we just wanted to do something different.  We didn't want to be around boys, we didn't want to be at the US Surf Open (which has been going on in Huntington Beach all week and of course was INSANE today...as we knew it would be since we live here), we just wanted to get away and chill.  So we did.  We wake-boarded, we jammed to good tunes, we floated on our little noodles.  We had a blast.  We also took a lot of pictures during said blast.

When we got home, we decided to find the best pictures to keep and put up of us.  All three of us sat around the computer as I loaded the pictures onto my laptop, eagerly waiting for the pictures to load.  We had pictures of us on the wake-board.  We had pictures of us lounging around the boat.  And we had pictures of us floating.  After going through pictures (and being shocked and horrified- all 3 of us)...we started vetoing pictures that we didn't like.  One by one, they all got deleted except one of me where I'm so far away you can't tell what I look like.  Here it is:

As you can see, I'm far away, and you can't really see what's happening with me and my suit; plus I have a life jacket on.

So we deleted all the pictures, cussed a bunch, and vowed that we will STOP EATING [junk].  Two a days- done.  Healthy, whole foods. Done.  Water- done.  VEGAS- ON!!!!!!

Pray for me- this is going to be an intense 3 weeks.

  1. Ah - pictures have this effect on me every time. Don't permanently delete though - it's a nice reminder of where you started. I will always wish I had more before pictures.

  2. I understand not liking pictures of yourself. We all have them. But you had a blast and you don't want to permanately delete those memories just because you weren't fond of how you look. Its okay to have pics that dont make the facebook/blog cut. You are BEAUTIFUL right now, as you are. Try not to be so hard on yourself! ;)

Good luck with the rampage D!

  5. I seriously think you're being too hard on yourself Diz. You are simply gorgeous, just as you are right now. I bet that if you loved yourself more the last few pounds would almost drop off you.
