Death workout.

So my old co-worker and dear friend Kendall came over today to get a massage and we started chatting- she's lost about 10-15 pounds and looks GREAT. She also mentioned that she's noticed that I've lost a few pounds as well, so we were discussing our different tactics for weight loss, and she told me about a new thing she started recently called "Crossfit". Have any of you heard about Crossfit? It's basically a new type of personal trainer or something. She was so animated and chatty that I had a hard time understanding what the difference was between Crossfit and a Personal trainer, but she said it's not exactly the same. She said that it gets you in to the best shape of your life, so that's good. Of course I would like that, who wouldn't? Sounds hard though. Anyway she got super excited about it and ended up booking me with her trainer for tomorrow. She got me 2 free sessions to try it out, and while I'm super excited, I'm feeling some mixed emotions about it...I'm so nervous to go tomorrow. I'm having the worst cramps alive right now and I feel like the fattest cow alive- my uterus is literally bulging out of my skin (ok not really, slight exaggeration). I haven't actually started my period yet...I have a feeling it's going to start any minute now. GREAT. What if it starts tomorrow? What if it starts tonight and then I go tomorrow and get my ass royally handed to me while I'm dying of cramps? I can already tell this one is going to be a gnarly one. The last thing I need is a strong ass kick while all of that is going on. I should've pushed the workout to next week. UGHHHH!!!!!

Speaking of working out, I still need to go to the gym today, but i have a feeling it's not going to happen because I'm so crampy and bloated right now. I just want to lay here.

Let's pray I don't have anything embarrassing happen tomorrow while I'm getting killed at crossfit. Yay for a new workout though!

  2. haha what was supposed to shock me there? I feel bad for the people that shock that easy. Let me know how the workout is, and how it differs.. I'm curious. Good luck.

  3. i'm sorry for your cramping, Diz. i just got off my period, and i always seem to cramp worse when i'm "dieting," for some reason. don't know what that's about.

    i'm with Deb on the reschedule.
    i hope whatever you do it brings you peace in mind and body! stay motivated for yourself and for us!
