Fat Flush Day Deux..

Ahhhh...blast.  Do you watch Lost?  Tonight's episode is so good!

Today was much harder on my Fat Flush diet than yesterday.  MUCH harder.  Although I can have as many veggies as I want, I couldn't seem to get full today.  All day long I was snacking, but it was all veggies, and therefore all healthy, so I don't feel bad.

I was thinking while at the gym...I'm a little nervous about this Fat Flush Diet.  What happens after the two weeks?  Will I just automatically gain weight back?  You're supposed to "ease" back into normal eating (or continue on the program until you hit goal weight), but most of my friends who have done it say that after 2 weeks, you're done.  It's too hard to keep up all the time; which means that I'll be adding normal foods back in.  It's healthy eating- but so healthy and clean that I think the SECOND I introduce "other" foods back into my diet, the weight will creep.  And that makes me nervous and not want to do this.  On the other hand, I keep pushing forward, with no cheats; I can already tell a difference, and I'm loving it.  There is something about looking healthy and fitting into your clothes that just makes me so happy.  It's a feeling like nothing else I can describe- it's a high.  And I'm addicted to that high- so I'm not ready to quit.  Plus, I kinda want to see how far I can actually get in 2 weeks.  It may only be 3 or 4 pounds; but it may be more.

I've had so many fruits and veggies today I'm about to barf. :)  I probably had about 9 servings of veggies and 2 of fruit today- I'm not kidding.  While this may not seem like much to you, it's ALOT for me.  I usually eat about 4-5 servings.

Ok- I'm out for the night.  LOST is just too good; I can't stay focused.

  1. The Fat Flush sounds interesting. Don't worry about gaining it all back when you start eating normally. Maybe you should up your exercise routine at that point. Good luck, it sounds like you are doing great!

  2. Good luck! Your determination to the diet is amazing. I would totally be scared like you to bindge on all the foods when I got back to normal eating. But I kow your strong and with plenty of mental rehearsing you will be fine!

  3. Flush, flush, flush! I predict you are going to see amazing results. Maybe at the end of the two weeks, you will feel so good that you will not crave stuff that you did previously, helping you to maintain.

  5. Don't worry about tomorrow w/ this thing--today is enough to consider. If the diet were unhealthy, that would be different, but w/ all of those f&v's it's okay for 2 weeks.

Chug on, girlfriend, save the stress for something else.

  8. I must be the only person on the planet who doesn't know much about Lost. Next time I'm sick (which hopefully isn't for a really long time) I'm going to watch season one on DVD.
